About Me
For a long time, my work revolved around understanding how people think, feel, and make decisions. At the beginning of my career this curiosity led me into the world of communication and advertising, where creativity, storytelling, and experimentation are part of everyday work. Over the years I came to realise that the most interesting stories are not the ones we create for audiences, but the ones people live inside their relationships.
I am now a couples therapist and coach based in the heart of Europe. I work with clients from around the world, while my main private practice is rooted in the Czech Republic, where I also meet clients face-to-face.
My professional path began with a Master’s degree in Communication from Aston University and nearly two decades spent studying human behaviour and communication across cultures. Working in the Czech Republic, Germany, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates gave me a deep appreciation for how differently people understand closeness, freedom, and commitment.
At the same time, my curiosity about the human mind was always accompanied by a respect for evidence and research. Over time my professional focus gradually shifted from communication between brands and audiences to communication between people in close relationships. This led me to systemic therapy and further integrative training in couples and family therapy, where I deepened my understanding of intimacy, trust, and the relational dynamics that shape how partners meet each other. Today my work combines evidence-based knowledge about relationships with curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to explore what is unique to each couple.
I believe relationships are not puzzles to solve but landscapes to explore. Another important lesson along the way was learning the value of slowing down. In a fast-paced world that constantly asks us to analyse, explain, and solve, relationships often need something different — space to pause, notice what is happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with lived experience. Therapy can become a place where this slowing down allows new understanding and possibilities to emerge.
Beyond my professional work, I am also a mother, partner, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Outside the therapy room I recharge through movement and creativity — rock climbing, freeriding, writing, dancing, yoga, and occasionally attempting to sing.
