What are the purposes of processing personal data?

The main reason for processing personal data is to provide our products and services.

We carry out the following activities:

—  Couples psychotherapy and counselling — individual and couples consultations focused on relationship dynamics.

—  Online community and mentoring — the Reconnection Project, a membership section with regular meetings, workbooks, and educational content for couples.

—  Creation and sale of digital products — digital guides, workbooks, and other downloadable materials focused on relationship topics.

—  Teaching and educational activities — lectures and workshops.

Specific purposes of processing:

—  Providing services, selling goods

—  Direct marketing to clients, emails, and advertising

—  Using email to handle inquiries

—  Collecting the data needed within the client membership area

What are the legal bases for processing?

Processing of personal data for the purposes stated above takes place on the basis of the following legal grounds:

—  Conclusion or performance of a contract

—  Legitimate interests of the controller or a third party — sending newsletters to clients

Where any processing is based on your consent, that consent is always given voluntarily and freely, and we will never pressure you in any way to give it. We will not carry out processing without your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time, and we will stop the processing based on it. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.

If processing is based on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to such processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. It is our duty to assess whether we have sufficient grounds to continue the processing and to inform you accordingly.

What data do we process?

We mainly process the data we need to offer and provide our products or services, comply with legal obligations, and protect your interests or ours.

Categories of personal data processed:

—  Contact details

—  Data on the creation and status of a service order

Unless stated otherwise, the data listed above is necessary for the purposes stated above, and without providing it we cannot enter into a contractual or similar relationship with you. If any data is voluntary, we will let you know.

Where do we obtain the data from?

We obtain personal data:

—  Directly from the data subjects (customers, employees, etc.)

How do we work with the data?

We carry out processing both manually and automatically, using various applications and software — in particular those that help us carry out our activities and without which we could not, in practice, provide our services.

Automated individual decision-making and profiling:

Automated individual decision-making is processing of data that has significant consequences for you (e.g., not entering into a contract) and in which no human is directly involved. Only automated means (applications, software, algorithms, etc.) are used for it. Profiling means the automated processing of data in order to evaluate certain personal aspects of a person (work performance, economic situation, health, behaviour, preferences, or location tracking).

We do not carry out automated individual decision-making. Where automated decision-making would have significant consequences for you (e.g., leading to not entering into a contract, refusal of payment of benefits, changes to the terms of an agreed service, etc.), you have the right to have such a decision reviewed, to express your view on it, and to contest it if applicable.

We do not carry out profiling.

To whom may we disclose the data?

Personal data may be processed by the following recipients (processors with whom we have a data processing agreement in place):

—  The provider of the platform for our membership community (Skool)

—  The provider of our email/newsletter tool

—  The provider of the payment gateway used to process payments

—  The provider of our video-call tool (Zoom) — for individual consultations and live community meetings

—  Our accountant, or the provider of our invoicing/accounting software

Similarly, if we were to change our operations and transfer our business or other activity, in whole or in part, to another person, such a transfer would also include the personal data related to that activity. The same would apply if we were required by law to make such changes.

We may likewise be required to provide certain data, based on legal requirements, to authorised public authorities or other entities designated by binding legal regulations.

Where may your data be processed?

Your personal data may be transferred for processing within the EU and the European Economic Area. In accordance with legal requirements, we may also transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA, but only where appropriate security is ensured and safeguards are demonstrated that the data will be handled in accordance with legal requirements.

How long do we keep the data?

We process personal data:

—  After the service has ended or the goods have been delivered, for the purpose of protecting rights and legitimate interests, generally until the expiry of the statute-of-limitations period

What are your rights?

You may ask us for information about the processing, for correction of inaccurate data, for erasure of data where the purpose has ceased to apply or the processing is unlawful; you have the right to restriction of processing, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (including direct marketing), the right of access to the data (a copy of the data) and to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection [Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů], Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.cz), or with your local data protection authority (you can find yours here: https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/board/members_en).

If you receive commercial communications from us, you always have the option to unsubscribe from such communications, either via the link included in every such electronic message or by sending a request directly to our contact details.

Where requests relating to the exercise of your rights are manifestly unfounded or excessive (in particular where they are repetitive), we may charge a reasonable fee not exceeding the costs necessary to handle the request, or refuse to act on the request.

Contact details for requests and questions concerning personal data are provided in the header of this document.

What security measures do we apply?

To protect personal data, we have implemented the following measures:

—  Security of devices, systems, network, and website
